The Dani Busboom Kelly era of Nebraska volleyball will open at Pinnacle Bank Arena at the AVCA First Serve Showcase Aug. 22 and 24. The Huskers will open their season against Pittsburgh, Busboom Kelly’s longtime nemesis as the Louisville, on Aug. 22. Then on Sunday, Aug. 24, the Huskers will face Stanford.
Nebraska’s matches will be part of a larger four-day, two-venue, 10-team event. Day one of the showcase is Aug. 22 at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln and features Nebraska vs. Pitt and Florida vs. Stanford. On Saturday, Aug. 23, Creighton will face Penn State and Kansas will take on Vanderbilt at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln. Then on Sunday, Aug. 24 at Pinnacle Bank Arena, Nebraska will take on Stanford and Florida will face Pitt. Finally, on Monday, Aug. 25, the event moves to the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., as Minnesota faces Texas A&M and Kansas takes on Penn State. First serve times for all matches will be announced at a later date.
Ticket Information
• A ticket presale event with access code will begin on Thursday, Feb. 27 at Noon (CT) and will end on March 7. Only 3-day packages will be available to purchase.
• The general public on-sale will begin on Friday, March 14 at 10 a.m. (CT) and will end on April 11. Only 3-day packages and a limited number of 2-day packages (Friday/Sunday) will be available to purchase.
• If any tickets are remaining after the general public on-sale, single-day tickets will be available for purchase beginning April 18 at 10 a.m. (CT).
