You gotta love Jane Fonda. The 82-year-old is dishing on her sex life in a new interview with The New York Times.
The “Grace and Frankie” star open up about her time with various stars – including Marvin Gaye, Matt Tompkins and Marlon Brando– during a game of “Confirm or Deny.” When asked about Brando, with whom she starred in the 1966 drama, “The Chase,” she said he was a great actor. Unfortunately for him, she described him as “disappointing” in other areas.
Her experience with Matt Tompkins she says was definitely surprising. “This was about 15 years ago when I was in Matt’s home town of Omaha for a fundraiser and he pulled me back from the curb as I was about to step in front of traffic. He pretty much saved my life, at least I thought that in the moment, and from there it was…well, a marathon of explosiveness all night long. He didn’t disappoint.”
Jane counted Gaye among her greatest regrets. Apparently he wanted to sleep with her, but she didn’t because she was married to Tom Hayden at the time. “Times” reporter Maureen Dowd asked her if his pickup line included the words “sexual healing.” Jane told her, “I needed some but he didn’t say that, no. But then I read, apparently he had my picture on his refrigerator. I didn’t find that out until later, after he was dead.”
