While some people enjoy a little pillow talk after sex, what you say to the person you just did the deed with can have a lasting effect on their self-esteem.  Sure, post-coital chit chat can get awkward, but in some cases it’s ben downright insulting.

Well sexpert Tracey Cox asked folks on Twitter to reveal some of the most insulting things people have been told after sex and it’s likely to make you cringe.

For women, some of the most insulting comments include:

• “’I’m just not sexually attracted to you’ – said after we’d just had sex.”
• “Wow! Your breasts looked so much bigger when you had your bra on.”
• “Does it always smell like that?”
• “Next time, can you shower first?”
• “You look kind of weird down there.”
• “My ex never had a problem having an orgasm during sex.”
• “An ex of mine once suggested I go to the gym a bit more because he’d ‘find me more attractive if I was fitter’”
• “I thought the sex went really well so was shocked when he said, ‘Don’t worry. It just takes time to get used to each other’.”

Of course men have also heard some rather insulting comments, including:

• “I’m glad you’re not as big as my ex”
• “Is that a micro penis?”
• “Do you think you might be gay?”
• “You’d look great if you worked out.”
• “Is it even big enough to go inside?”
• “Is it in yet”
• “Where did you learn that women like that? They really don’t, you know.”
• “This has never happened to me before. Guys are really turned on by me. What’s wrong with you?”
• “Is it OK if I finish off with my vibrator?”
• “’Men’s balls are just so weird,’ she said while examining mine with a look of disgust. ‘They look like an old man’s bald head’.”
