The Connor Happer Show Radio Replay

Connor Happer

Connor Happer has been the host of the mid-day slot at 1620 The Zone since January of 2022.

A native of Omaha, Connor grew up going to CWS and O Royals games at Rosenblatt and attending Creighton Basketball games. He is an Omaha Central High grad, and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (after a very brief, uneventful stab at playing junior college baseball).

Connor’s other duties include, but are not limited to, PA announcer for the Nebraska Women’s Basketball team, In-Arena host of ‘Jays Live’ during Creighton Men’s Basketball games, and emceeing for the Omaha Storm Chasers. He has also served as the sideline reporter for 1620 The Zone/Westwood One’s broadcasts of the Men’s College World Series. Previously, he spent nearly a decade doing sports talk and play-by-play in Lincoln, Neb.

As an increasingly frustrated fan of the Kansas City Royals, Connor likes to remind people that they did indeed win the World Series in 2015. His food takes are very normal. And, he believes ‘Sweet Caroline’ is a terrible song.

Josh Odson

A native of Omaha, Josh Odson is a veteran producer and “utility infielder” in the world of radio. Josh previously served as producer, on-air talent, sideline reporter, statistician, and play-by-play voice, among other positions at one time or another.

Josh honed his craft at nearby Iowa Western Community College where he continues to work closely with their football team, a perennial power in the Junior College ranks. Josh graduated from Omaha Burke High School in an undisclosed year (put him in the Hall of Fame, cowards).

He’s also the self-proclaimed “most prominent movie reviewer in Omaha,” reviewing a plethora of movies on-air and on social media. An expert in all things Denzel Washington, Josh is also a father of one son and husband to an amazing wife.
